Hi! I'm Cara, owner of Lily's Bakery. I am a full-time student and part-time solopreneur. I’ve been baking since I was 7, making cookies with my grandma. I practiced by making treats for my classes during elementary and middle school. I would walk down the halls with a tray of cupcakes, and someone would say, “Oh! Is it your birthday?” I replied, “No, you don’t need an occasion for cupcakes.” I started Lily’s Bakery in 2017 for friends and family. Since then, it has grown into a small custom bakery. I continue learning new skills and expanding my business.
Lily’s Bakery is a Cottage Food Operation licensed by the WSDA. I have a registered LLC with the Washington state DOR. I operate from my licensed home kitchen located in Bothell, WA.

My Process
Once I have received your initial contact, I will let you know if I can move forward with your order. We can collaborate with the visual elements of your order, often with inspiration photos and vision boards. We will discuss flavor, color, shape, and quantity while discovering ideas. Once the details are developed, I will price your order and send you a virtual invoice. I begin physically making your order with the planned design. We will set up a time for pick up, and you will receive your completed order.
